The owner of this stunning Gallardo gave me a brief he wanted his car to look as good as new and have a real deep Glossy wet shine. once the car had been fully decontaminated and dried I moved it inside and got a good look at the paint under the lights, this Gallardo was suffering from light swirling and marring from poor washing practices. The whole car was Single Stage Machine Polished using Meguairs 205 Finishing polish on orange and white Hex Logic 5.5inch pads. once the machining was complete every panel was wiped down with IPA wipe to remove any polish residue and leave a perfect surface for sealing and waxing.
Meguairs Synthetic Sealant was used as a base layer of protection, left to cure to a light haze for 20 mins and buffed off with super soft microfibre towels.
Protection done now to achieve the wet look so I was dipping my applicator pad into my FAVOURITE wax pot Auto Finesse Illusion Show car wax. I applied two thin coats to every panel and removed with a super soft microfibre towel. topped off with Meguairs Final touch rapid Detail Spray.
Alloys were Cleaned using Devils Blood Fallout Remover and were then sealed Using Wheelzebub by Autobrite-Direct UK
Trim glazed in Auto-glym Vynal and rubber care then protected with aerospace 303 UV protector
