The owner of this Porsche Boxter S came to me looking to freshen up his weekend drive, he had previously had it compounded by a body shop and was left feeling disappointed with the finish. A short conversation later and he had decided upon a correctional detail to remove those horrible swirls and rejuvenate the paint.

Firstly the car was treated to a full exterior deep clean to remove all contaminates from the paint. washed, dried and rolled inside for a closer look under the lights. there were some tell tale signs of the previous body-shops effort with pigtails and holograms all over.

The first stage of Machine polishing will remove all swirling and marring. this was completed using Meguairs 205 finishing polish with an orange hex logic Pad and rotary Machine polisher.

The second stage of machine polishing is for refining the finish and rejuvenating the colour of the paint this stage is often missed out by many but is crucial to achieving that deep rich glossy look. this stage was completed with Meguairs M205 finishing polish on a hex logic Black pad with a rotary machine polisher

To protect the perfect finish now obtained two coats of Fusso Soft Coat 12 month sealant were applied and let to cure. then a single layer of Auto finesse Illusion wax was applied.

alloy wheel were sealed with Poorboys alloy wheel sealant, Glass was treated with Nanolex Rain repellent tyres were dressed with Meguairs Endurance tyre gel.
