1. Glossy Autos reserves the right at any time to revise its terms & conditions, prices or the details given on this site without notice. All orders for products are subject to availability and Glossy Autos reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.
2. All goods & services supplied by Glossy Autos remain the property of Glossy Autos and full ownership/title to goods & or services will not pass to the customer until the oustanding invoice(s) for said goods & or services are settled in full. We reserve the right to recover and remove any items that belong to Glossy Autos or items that have not been paid for by any customer of Glossy Autos, the customer will waive any right to refuse entry to any agent/staff member of Glossy Autos once they have identified themselves as such from entry to any location for the purposes of recovery & removal of Glossy Autos property wherever it may be located.
3. All photographs & videos taken of our work by our staff remain our property & copyright and customers agree to assign the rights for Glossy Autos to use said photos & or videos for evidential & or promotional purposes as Glossy Autos see fit, unless by prior written agreement.
4. Glossy Autos will use all reasonable endeavour to complete the services by the time and day we have stated that the services should be performed by. In the event that we cannot complete the services on the designated day we will seek to contact you and arrange for the services to be completed on the soonest available subsequent day. Glossy Autos will accept no liability for failing to perform the services on time.
5. All work undertaken by Glossy Autos is fully insured. If you believe Glossy Autos are responsible for damage or loss to a vehicle then it is your responsibility to report this matter to the Glossy Autos staff member before they leaves your premises & to make a written complaint on the job sheet provided. Failure to do so will result in any claim being refused/disputed without comprehensive proof that this damage was caused by our staff.
6. Glossy Autos will endeavour to take all reasonable care of your vehicle while it is in our possession. However we will not be held liable for:
a. Damage or loss to you or your vehicle resulting from acts of third parties who are neither employees or agents
b. Damage or loss to your vehicle caused by any act of god, lightning, flood, severe weather, fire or explosion, civil disorder, war or military operations, national or local emergencies, anything done by the Government or other competent authority or industrial disputes of any kind,
c. Consequential loss to you or your vehicle resulting from any default on our part.
7. You will be liable to us for any death, injury or damage suffered by us or our staff attributable to any defect in your vehicle or harmful contents.
8. It should be noted that polish and other cleaning products can be slippery and extreme caution should be exercised when collecting or returning to your vehicle. We accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage cause as a consequence of failing to heed this warning.
9. Child seats must be refitted by you; we will not be able to re-fit child seats under any circumstances.
10. Our determination of the size and category of the vehicle shall be final and binding.
11. All valeting & detailing services to any UK address are inclusive of chemicals, travel, labour and insurance costs unless otherwise stated.
12. If you have booked any of our services please make sure your vehicle is in a reasonable condition by removing excess items from the interior and boot area. Either remove all your personal belongings, or put them in a bag away from rubbish that we will clear. Items that may resemble rubbish could be considered disposable and therefore removed. We will not be held responsible in such a situation.
13. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all our services are carried out to the highest standard (according to the condition of the vehicle), the client is advised to check the vehicle on completion of the work. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the client should point out the discrepancy to the operative who will endeavour to correct it at that time and to the best of their ability. No responsibility can be accepted for omissions or discrepancies detected after the operative has left the clients premises. Should the service be carried out with the ‘client not present’ and the client has cause for complaint, the client is asked to contact Glossy Autos within 24 hours of the service. Should the client fail to adhere to this time scale Glossy Autos may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies. This will be at the discretion of the business owner.
14. Glossy Autos will not be responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill fitting trim, loose or faulty parts. Please ensure that you have made the operator aware of any potential problems before they start the work. The operative will inspect the vehicle with you marking any damage, dents, chips or loose trim on a vehicle check sheet prior to work commencing, once completed you will be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and sign the check sheet giving your acceptance that the vehicle is not damaged further in any way and that you are 100% satisfied with the work, failure to do so will result in any claim being refused/disputed without comprehensive proof that the damage was caused by Glossy Autos.
15.Glossy Autos undertakes valeting and detailing services all year round, as a result on some occasions, the weather prevents us from pursuing our normal duties. In this event, if you have an undercover area or suitable garage we will be able to continue with our work, otherwise we will contact you by phone to confirm the cancellation and to re-schedule a more suitable appointment.
16. In the unlikely event that your appointment has to be delayed or cancelled by us, we will contact you as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any consequential losses resulting from such delay or cancellation.
17. If you are unhappy with our service and would like to make a complaint please contact us via the contact details provided on our website. We will then review the complaint and contact you within 30 days. The final decision will be made by the business owner.
18. Glossy Autos can request a 25% deposit against all booked detailing services after the vehicle has been assessed and the condition agreed. This deposit is non refundable if the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours beforehand and not re-booked for the works to commence within 14 days.
19. Full Payment is due on the day of completion of the works agreed either by cash or BACS transfer to our account. NO payment terms are applicable unless otherwise stated and agreed in advance in writing by both parties. Failure to adhere to these terms will result in interest being charged at 5% above the Bank of England base rate for each day that payment is overdue, we further reserve the right to add to the invoice any further charges incurred in the pursuit of outstanding invoices including but not limited to :- Administration fees, Debt recovery agents, Legal fees & Court costs.
20. Any dispute with Glossy Autos will be dealt with under English Law in a court/jurisdiction of our choosing.
21. All Quoted services. will be subject to the terms and conditions that are outlined above unless otherwise stated and agreed in advance in writing by both parties. By accepting any quote or making a booking howsoever made, you are agreeing to be legally bound by the terms and conditions outlined above.
